What, in your own words, IS the “post-digital”, exactly?

Post-digital is the idea of moving past digital technology like it was some sort of phase. Questioning if it is truly just the way things will be from here on out with every human relying on technology playing an active role in our lives or will we move past our technological reliance.

Are we living in a “post-digital” environment (yet)? What’s your evidence for your opinion?

As of right now i don’t believe that we are living in a post-digital environment. However i do believe that perhaps one day societies fascination with the digital world will die down a lot more especially given societies inability to be stagnant. Like the Chinese naval fleet in the 15th century, perhaps some day everything can be whitewashed and humanity can move into a new age. Who knows, maybe Apple could one day release a new phone and no one would even care.
